Designed to provide you with a unique tyre ID that essentially gives you a certificate of provenance that follows the tyre during its lifetime: manufacture, distribution, operation, repair, reuse, recycle and resell.  RFID tags do not measure performance (for that you need to pair it with a sensor) but as an asset.

Digital traceability provides a low cost route to track a tyre throughout its life. This improves supplier efficiencies, reduces errors in recording data, reduces the risk of loss, keeps inventories balanced, integrates with a whole ecosystem of management systems and serves as a Certificate of Provenance for the eventual recycling of a tyre at the end of its life. 

We use cutting edge additive printing technology to make a new generation of RFID tags on materials compatible with tyres and their manufacturing process. Light, flexible and robust, these tags can be fitted to tyres and other physical assets either in the manufacturing process (as inlays or patches) or in the after market (as patches.

Silent Sensors has developed additive printable technology for the manufacture of tags and circuits for sensors on materials compatible with tyres. The technologies we use include Electroless Plating, Photonic Sintering and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). With Inkjet® Flex we combine several circuit boards into one single printed interconnected circuit. Printed technology reduces copper features down to 125µm on flexible PET film using a continuous roll to roll printing and plating process.
