All this is well known to fleet managers; today the ever cheaper cost of sensing, the explosion of big data, the arrrival of the Internet of Things  and the ubiquity of smartphones means that now more than ever sensors are the essential foundation for tyre management systems.  We call it Sensing as a Service.  

We work with established suppliers to design, extend and adapt a range of sensors that measure and monitor performance. Fitted in the manufacturing process or in the after market, these can be designed to meet specific needs and integrate within your current architecture.

External TPMS Sensor 433 H

Fitted to the valve externally, this sensor alerts the driver of heavy vehicles when a tyre is under or over inflated. The unit uses direct tyre sensors within a 433MHz dongle which transmits tire pressure and temperature every 60 seconds via a smartphone App to the driver and via the Hub to the Fleet Manager.
